PROGRAMS

Each program is designed to create "Magical" moments that will be impactful and memorable in the minds of each participant. Our aim is to inspire and expose young girls to ideals beyond their imagination and immediate circumstance. Therefore, we go beyond traditional seminars and classroom settings and attempt to increase the focus on the experience component of each program to ensure that every girl is made to feel special and as if they are a part of a "fairytale".

DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAMS

THE ABRACADABRA PROM PROJECT

Gifts prom dresses, prom tickets, and prom related accessories to homeless, low-income high school seniors and juniors within the Lake County School system. These girls are treated to a Cinderella experience, which includes them being picked up in a limo, treated to hair, nails and make-up, and pampered throughout the experience by a personal shopper.

MENTORING RETREATS

A weekend aimed at high school girls, during the weekend we attend a cultural activity. In the past, we've attended theater productions such as Black Girl Speaks, a Concert, a College Pep Rally at Downtown Disney, a College Football game, and gone Zip Lining. Also included in this weekend is mentoring and the facilitation of sessions that focus on an array of topics ranging from self-image, college readiness, and networking.

COLLEGE TOUR

Targets Florida high school girls that are potentially first-generation college attendees. The tour includes 8-10 different colleges across as many as three states, cultural actiivities, and opportunities for mentoring by volunteers.
